POST PROCEDURE INSTRUCTION
- IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING Permanent Cosmetic Procedures, apply ice to treated area for 10-15 minutes at a time as tolerated. You may soak gauze or cotton squares in ice water, squeeze excess water and lay on eyeliner. Ice helps to reduce swelling and aids in healing. Continue using these cool compresses and ice the first few days, up to seven days, as often as necessary.
- FOR THE FIRST WEEK:
- Do not expose treated area to the sun or tanning beds - especially first few months.
- While healing, you may apply eye shadow or powder make-up over the procedure to soften the initial, dramatic look.
- You may gently cleanse with a mid antibacterial soap or other "gentle" cleanser. Rinse with water and gently "pat" dry.
- Do not soak treated area in a bath, swimming pool or hot tub. Do not swin in fresh, salt, or chlorinated water until healed.
- Avoid very hot, steamy showers. Keep temperatures lukewarm and keep back of head facing pressure of shower. Splash area with cood water after shower.
- Avoid any hair removal near treated area until healed.
- No dying of eyelashes or eyebrows until healed.
- For eyeliner procedure, You may use artificial tears if eyes feel extra dry or scratchy anytime throughout the day. Thicker drops can be used before bed that first night. Bacitracin ointment is not an ophthalmic kind, so do not get it near your eyes. If you feel your lids need ointment, keep it away from your lashes.
- BACITRACIN OINTMENT - Brows and Lips - very lightly apply ointment 3 times daily for the first few days. May also be used for the full week. If any increase in redness or bumps develop, discontinue the bacitracin (sign of an allergic reaction). Vasoline is the only alternative ointment to use furing healing time.
- "CRUST OF COLOR" - Do Not Scrub Or Pick at the epithelial crust of color. Allow it to flake off on it's own. The color will soften and look more natural after the crust of color flakes. After flaking, Lip color may first appear pastel or milky. Lip color will gradually become the true color selected ove the 8 week healing time.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in LOSS OF COLOR, DISCOLORATION AND INFECTION!!
I necessary, an appointment for a touch-up may be made at 2 MONTHS, allowing the dermal layers of skin to heal and not be sensitive. Try not to wait more than 4 months though, so I can keep track of who actually needs an appointment. It's up to you to contact me, If I don't hear from you, I'll assume you don't require a touch-up.
Enjoy your Permanent Cosmetics!!
